Self-Directed Studies

A full day of self-directed learning for teens. Rather than moving through a class schedule, students here shape their own days — pursuing a project, a question, a craft or a course of study, with the learning center, its materials and its facilitators available to them throughout.

Facilitators are present to offer resources, ask good questions, connect students to mentors and help self-directed work find its shape. Students come and go through the day as their work requires.
