Zoë Clare is a Community Leader, Educator, and Creative Producer with over two decades of experience working with all ages – nurturing emotional intelligence and social consciousness among children and families. With the help of an incredibly engaged and talented community, Zoë founded the StarWater Collective and Cafe in 2007 – specializing in festival production and community mentorship, designing and producing immersive gatherings centered on art, music, wellness, ritual, and community connection through service-based beverage alchemy at
transformational festivals and beyond. Through her work with StarWater Collective, she has
helped cultivate immersive creative experiences for families, emphasizing emotional safety,
inclusion, and cooperation.
Zoë is also a co-founder of Yellowstone Hill Farm & Learning Center in Longmont, CO, a regenerative agriculture and community education hub dedicated to land stewardship, food sovereignty, experiential learning, and intergenerational connection. The farm serves as a living classroom where children and families engage in hands-on learning through gardening, ecology, seasonal cycles, and sustainable food systems – bridging education, community, and environmental responsibility.
Her commitment to engaged youth development began early in life, serving as a Girl Scout Camp Director and Troop Leader, while also working closely with the Peace Jam Organization – a Denver-based international youth leadership initiative centered around Nobel Peace Laureates. Here, she served as a group mentor and guest workshop leader for high school students. She has extensive training in Conflict Resolution and the HIPP Program (Help Increase the Peace), a nationally recognized peace-education framework that emphasizes compassionate communication, restorative practices, peer mediation, and diversity/emotional literacy. This dedication to experiential education and leadership development has fostered a wealth of resources that feed directly into the mission of Inspire Roots.
Zoë has developed an elementary curriculum and interdisciplinary learning framework designed to support families seeking holistic, creativity-centered education. This framework is meant to support both intellectual and creative development, weaving together social-emotional learning, peace education, nature-based exploration, creative arts, nutrition education, and ecological literacy. The curriculum honors children as curious co-learners and emphasizes relationship-based learning. Along with this, Zoë has served as a culinary professional in Reggio-Emilia inspired learning centers, and is excited to bring her enthusiasm for culinary and beverage education to the elementary level.
As both an educator and a parent, Zoë is deeply inspired by Reggio Emilia philosophy, experiential education, and peace studies. Her work bridges childcare, curriculum design, food education, regenerative farming, and community leadership – offering families an integrated approach to learning.
